January 29, 2012

I am happy to report Caden is still doing absolutely amazing.  This is the longest stretch of health he has had since this whole eczema nightmare began, we are just elated!  He is still running and playing.  Laughing and enjoying life, I am just cried out with happiness.  We are still avoiding trigger foods and I firmly believe that the chicken was the main culprit.  While he still has flares, he is not sick or miserable like he has been in the past.

School has begun again for me, this semester is Clinical Microbiology and First Aid.  It is going to be a challenge, but I am optimistic.  The micro class will be very informative in regards to Caden's infections and I will learn alot about it in theory and under the microscope.

Everyone seems like they are doing good here, hope all is well with all of you!

Much Love and Magic to you All,
Jenny
Fairy Burial.  I used Dusty Attic Chippies, Paper from my stash,
Bo Bunny Trinkets and Misc flowers from Whole Lotta Scrap
here in Norman. Love this color variation and didn't want to be
done with it.  Guess I will have to create more that make
me just as happy!!

Sam-O in the snow.  He is my love, hence the title.  His smile
is infectious and his love of life is too. He is the sunshine
in my day when all else fails!!  I used more of my Winters Eve
Kit from Scraps of Darkness and some berries I scored on the
80% aisle at HL.  They were $0.20 each bundle, LOL!!

My DH and I finally went to see Whitesnake in 2010. In our high school days this was our favorite band along with Def Leppard. We both got to see Def Leppard, but never the infamous Whitesnake. Is This Love was"our song" in high school, so seeing them play it live was sureal. My hubby and I reconnected 7 years ago after 18 years apart and married in 2010. We were crazy about each other back in the day, but my parents put a stop to it because I was 14, he was 17. I did not understand them then, but now I have a 14 year old daughter, and I finally get it. Luckily the stars aligned, and the angels got together and helped us find one another again. So, all in all, this is just a fun layout, honoring the band that has always made us remember each other through all of these years. TFL!

Lots of Tim Holtz here with an Izzabella Blue pic.  Heirloom gold
Perfect Pearls mist, lots of ditressing and inking.  Got my hands dirty and
had lots of fun with this one!

big hair, bigger attitude.
this is me at 19.  i used more of the scraps of darkness
winters eve kit, along with distressing and inking supplies by
tim holtz.  it's hard to believe that i will be 40 this year, seems like
i was this girl yesterday.  time goes by so fast and life happens
even faster.  A sadness for the bygone days hits me often
but then I realize the path I am on is the one God has given to me
for a reason and I embrace the challenges and blessings as best as I can. tfl!

jerry and his mom in matching striped pants.  LOVE this pic!
I used bo bunny, kaisercraft, petaloo and a couple of
Renea's butterfly's from SOD.  Misted the paper and distressed
with the awesome Tim Holtz ranger inks and distress inks.

My Annabelle in her first communion dress.  I based the LO on
Suepups sketch from December's Scraps of Darkness kit.  All
products except the butterfly's and liner are from the Winter's Eve
kit for December at SOD.  Check them out at
www.scrapsofdarkness.com, amazing!!
Had lots of fun with this one and got my bling on!
